Wilson Harris

From Senatobia, MS, Wilson Harris has secured a noteworthy musical presence throughout the Mid-South. Wilson Harris started playing music in 2003, at the age of fourteen. His spent his early days playing with numerous groups, starting with the Celebration Praise Team in 2004. In 2007, he was featured as the musical guest on Fox 13's "United Methodist Hour", performing an original song.

He has shared the stage with Burnside Exploration, Cory Branan, George Mcconnell (ofWidespread Panic), Jimbo Mathus (of Squirrel Nut Zippers), Cowboy Mouth, John Anderson, The Eisenhaur Band. Richard Johnston, Jamison Land (of Gwar) , Casey Moore. (of Leland), Marlee Scott, Grace Askew, Mojoflo, RT Scott Band, the Kudzu Kings, The Dirt Brothers, Kenny Brown, KC Johns, Duwayne Burnside, The Dammit Boys, Spunk Monkeys, Deadfall Rd., Woodstomp and so many more.

Between gigs you will find Wilson writing his hauntingly emotive songs, aptly strumming his guitar and maybe even quoting William Butler Yeats. 

The Bonfire Orchestra, will have the honor and privilege of opening for Oscar-winning actor Billy Bob Thornton's band, The Boxmasters, on August 29th at Crossroads Arena in Corinth, MS, Thornton and his group are on a nation-wide tour supporting their new LP "Somewhere Down the Road".
