featuring the best of Mississippi's talent Wednesday, May 2th from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. The Brick Oven is located about half mile

west of I-55 in Hernando MS.. The event spotlights the singer/songwriter talents of MS musicians, The Big Time Rhythm & Blues Band 

(2010 International Blues Challenge Regional Contest 2nd Place Winners)
With Special Guest Autumn Redd . There is no cover change; benefits from the event go toward the Mississippi Music Foundation's Money Match program,

which is for artists living in Mississippi seeking to record and release an original CD.

The Mississippi Music Foundation gets kids off the street and into music.                                                                          
The Mississippi Music Foundation and Epic Entertainment are teaming up to bring North Mississippi the largest Teen Music Event ever. The event will be complete with a laser light show and performances by Mississippi natives Skyelor Anderson from The X Factor TV show, Cannon Moyer Pop singer, and other special guests. DJ Epic will be on hand so spin tunes and host. A portion of the proceeds of this event will benefit the Mississippi Music Foundation Money Match Program. Money Match program is for artist seeking to record and release an original CD. MSMF will match a portion of funds raised by an artist to complete one song or group of songs. Auditions for the "New MSMF Youth Symphony and Choir"

The New MSMF Youth Symphony will be a full Choir & Orchestra consisting of strings,

winds, brass, percussion, harp, and piano and All four parts of the Choir.

MSMF members participate in a 25 - 30 week season ( Which includes 3-4 performances )

including rehearsals, sectional rehearsals, master classes with MSMF guest soloists .

Mississippi Music Foundation is currently holding auditions
for the New "MSMF  Youth Symphony and Choir "

Mississippi Music Foundation presents a singer/songwriter showcase Wednesday, July 6 from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. to be held at The Spot Sports Bar and Grill located in the shopping center next to the railroad tracks off of Commerce Street in Hernando MS. The event spotlights the singer/songwriter talents of MS musicians Tori Tollison and Ashes of Time.

There is no cover charge; benefits from the event go toward the MSMF Money Match program, which is for artists living in Mississippi seeking to record and release an original CD. MSMF will match up to 50% of funds raised by an artist to complete one song or group of songs. All genres are accepted but all groups or artist must apply and acceptance is not guaranteed.
